Foo Fighters Live Tribute to Malcolm Young
Earlier this week, we lost one of the architects of Hard Rock when Malcolm Young of AC/DC passed away at age 64. Young's rhythm guitar prowess and song writing skills influenced many musicians who followed him, including Dave Grohl, who led a rocking tribute to Young at a Foo Fighters concert in Mexico City. Today, among other things, is National Wine Day. Should you choose to celebrate, please do responsibly and here is a bit of music from Stick McGhee to enjoy while enjoying a glass of sunlight held together by water. Stick (born Granville McGhee) used to sing this song while in the army during WWII (with decidedly more raunchy lyrics in the chorus) and recorded this version which went on to become the first hit single for Atlantic Records.
