YouTube guitarist extraordinaire 331Erock does it again, transforming PSY's worldwide viral sensation "Gangnam Style" into a headbanging good time. Actually, he has really upped his game with this one.

Instead of playing the familiar riffs or vocals on his axe, he has actually replaced the cheesetastic K-Pop synths that back Park Jae-Sang on his unlikely smash hit with a crunchy fretboard flourish and added an epic guitar solo to boot, while keeping PSY's vocals intact. All to excellent effect.

If this is your first exposure to Erock (Eric Calderone), then you have some great listening to catch up on. He is now up to 80 videos on YouTube, where he has given the metal treatment to movie, TV and video game themes (Kingdom Hearts, Doctor Who) added a spiked leather armband-sheen to pop music flavors of the week (Gotye, Carly Rae Jepsen) and transmuted viral sensations including PSY and Trololo into metal celebrations.
