Found on YouTube - Heavy Metal Doctor Who

The gentleman concentrating on his fretboard above is named Eric Calderone. Eric, or as he is known by his online name 331Erock, is a guitarist. Actually, that's not quite fair. Eric is more of an alchemist, because when his fingers touch the fretboard the sounds that emanate from his axe are gold. Pure, geektastic, gold. Eric's latest creation is a metallic medley of themes associated with The Doctor. Who?

Observe 331Erock's whammy bar technique on The Doctor Who Theme and "I Am The Doctor", for it is strong enough to repel Weeping Angels and Daleks alike. Crank up your speakers and press play. I'll be waiting for you four and a half minutes from now below the video.

Eric Calderone is no mere YouTube covers musician. He commands over 177,000 channel subscribers and nearly 23 million views of his anodized interpretations of everything from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Daft Punk. 331Erock wears his geekdom on his sleeve. No, literally, he does. Notice the Green Lantern tattoo he's rocking on his right forearm?

Calderone is not opposed to taking requests from his viewers, in fact he encourages them in the comments sections of his videos. So if your ears have been longing to hear a heavy metal rendition of music from Game of Thrones, Deadmau5 or even My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, then check out his YouTube channel where 331Erock brings the RAWK.

Props must be given to my metal brother-in-arms, Shred That Axe, for being the first to put 331Erock's music in my ears. \m/
