New Single Released From Chickenfoot! [/|\]

It's been just over two years since supergroup Chickenfoot unleashed their killer debut album on the world. This morning, the first single from the Foot's long awaited follow up album was released and it is three-plus minutes of rockin'! Come on in for a listen!

For the uninitiated, Chickenfoot is made up of guitarist Joe Satriani, rock vocal legend Sammy Hagar, bassist Michael Anthony (Van Halen) and skin pounder Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers). If you missed out on their first album, I can not nearly recommend it highly enough to you as one of the best hard rock albums of the 21st Century. But right now let's listen to their new single, "Big Foot".

Satriani has crafted another up-tempo riff rocker, Hagar's voice sounds better than ever and the one-two vocal harmonies of Hagar and Anthony continue to evoke their tenure together in Van Halen in a fantastic way. If this is an indicator of the sound of the rest of Chickenfoot III (brilliant title choice for a second album!) then rock fans should be pre-ordering the album now!
