Found on YouTube - Violinist Lindsey Stirling

Lindsey Stirling is one of those truly wonderful things one can find via the series of tubes of the Internet. She has been performing and independently releasing music for nearly two years, and while the above video for "Spontaneous Me" may be many people's first experience hearing and seeing her, it is Lindsey's latest song that has been on loop in my brain all week.

The name of her new single is "Crystallize", but in a bit of heads up attention grabbing, Lindsey has named the upload of the video to YouTube with the accurate descriptor, Dubstep Violin.  Now, do not let the Dubstep word scare you off and have a listen to the aetherial melodies and passionate violin lines crafted by Miss Stirling.

With "Crystallize", Lindsey Stirling has put together a melodic blend of synth, violin and just the right amount of drops and wub wubs without going overboard. The result is an earworm-inducing instrumental which plays as well on its own as it does with the beautiful back drop of the Ice Castles at Silverthorne, Colorado where the video was filmed.

Props have to be given to Stirling's subtle step into the Dubstep world, as she pulls it off extremely well. It also further demonstrates the versatility of this violin virtuoso when compared with listens to her other material, which includes originals, along with medley's of music from The Legend of Zelda and The Lord of The Rings.

You can download "Crystallize" along with Lindsey Stirling's other material from iTunes.
