A Scary Good Cover of the Theme from Phantasm

Here is a bit of scary fun. London-based musician and game music composer Andy Lemon has decomposed Fred Myrow's theme to the horror cult-classic, Phantasm. Beware the Ball. Beware the Tall Man, but, come in and listen, if you dare. (insert evil laughter, here)

Where Myrow's original riffs on the style of The Exorcist, Lemon's synth-centric cover conjures up aural visions of John Carpenter's particular soundtrack style.

Andy Lemon's combination of funereal organ tones combined with haunting low end bass sweeps are what really drives this terrifyingly good cover. Praise must also be given for the sheer fact that Lemon went with a cover of an oft over looked piece of scary music.

Here is wishing you a very Happy Halloween!
