Social Distortion Cover Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Up Around The Bend"


Social Distortion has added a new song to their arsenal of fantastic covers. The Orange County punk stalwarts have taken on Creedence Clearwater Revival's classic, "Up Around the Bend" for the upcoming animated film, Free Birds.

Social Distortion are one of those bands which don't need to record cover songs, but when they do, they never disappoint, bringing their signature sound to each recording. Turn it up and enjoy!



Social D adds "Up Around the Bend" to their list of covers including The Rolling Stones' "Paint it Black," The Clash's "Death or Glory" and their show stopping version of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire". Hopefully, Social Distortion will play this latest one on a future tour.

Free Birds releases on November 1st and stars the voices of Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson and Amy Poehler. The soundtrack drops on October 29th.
